Dina originates from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved to Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. There are two of her younger siblings and a brother who is older. She started her career as an entertainer when she was nine and was modeling. Her career in acting began at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's methods with Ron Stetson for three years. Others who have received this training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, and many other actors. Her role was in Beverly Hills 90210, and was forced relocate from Los Angeles to take the lead role. After securing the lead role in Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she established her self as an actor athletic. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to secure a regular spot on Friends.
